Bridging Differences / Survey



This survey is part of a university class assignment. The results will only be used for educational purposes within our course. We are conducting this survey to better understand how people view cultural differences and whether understanding differences can contribute to a more peaceful world.

The survey takes approximately 3–5 minutes to complete.

We will analyze the results and share our findings on our blog in a few weeks.

Welcome to our blog, Bridging Differences

Hello and welcome to Bridging Differences My name is Kaisei, and I am a university student in Japan🇯🇵. One reason I became interested in this topic is because I have lived in both Japan🇯🇵 and Canada🇨🇦. During that time, I met people from many different cultures, religions, and backgrounds. While most of these experiences were positive, I also noticed how easily misunderstandings can develop when people do not understand each other. These experiences led me to a question that has stayed with me for years: Can understanding differences create a more peaceful world? So far, I have learned that there is no simple answer. Some psychologists believe that empathy, communication, and education can reduce prejudice and conflict. Others argue that humans naturally divide themselves into groups and that some level of conflict may always exist. Through this blog, I hope to explore different perspectives on this question.
